Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and MoneyRemind (“we”, “us”), which is operated by Metin Yılmaz in Türkiye. They apply to the MoneyRemind app and this website. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use MoneyRemind.

1. What MoneyRemind is, and isn't
MoneyRemind helps you keep track of bills, payments, budgets and savings goals, and reminds you before payments are due. It is a personal tracking and reminder tool. It is not a bank or payment service, it doesn't move money, and nothing in it, the Assistant included, is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. You remain responsible for paying your bills and for your financial decisions. You can use it for your household and for your own work or small business (for example a freelancer's bills); it is not accounting, invoicing or tax software.
2. Who can use MoneyRemind
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a contract.
- An account is for one person. To manage money with others, use shared groups.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else is using your account.
4. Reminders help, but they can't be guaranteed
Reminders depend on your phone, its notification and battery settings, the operating system, the time zone and network services. The app schedules reminders on your phone a limited time ahead, so open it from time to time. We work hard to deliver every reminder, but we can't guarantee that each one arrives on time. Keep your own record of important deadlines.
5. Your content
What you enter stays yours. You allow us to store, process and show it only to provide MoneyRemind to you and to the people you share a group with, as described in the Privacy Policy. Only add information about other people, such as an invitee's email or a name label, if you're allowed to.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't use MoneyRemind for anything illegal, to harass anyone or to send unwanted invitations.
- Don't try to access other people's data, test or disrupt our systems, get around plan limits or trial rules, or copy or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
- Don't use the Assistant to generate content unrelated to your own finances or to try to make it ignore its instructions.
- We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first.
7. AI features
- AI features are optional and only work after you allow them in the app.
- AI answers and voice parsing can be wrong. Check each payment before you save it and use your own judgement with the Assistant's answers.
- Premium includes 500 AI credits a month. An AI voice add, a receipt scan and an Assistant answer use 1 credit each; the weekly brief uses none. Credits are counted per calendar month in UTC and reset on the 1st at 00:00 UTC. Fair-use limits per day also apply. When the credits run out, the app falls back to its on-device features until the next month.
- During the free Premium trial, AI features are limited to 10 AI credits in total.
- We may change the AI models we use. The Privacy Policy explains what is sent.
9. Gift codes and promotions
- We may give Premium as a gift or through promotional codes. Codes may have an expiry date and a limited number of uses, have no cash value and can't be resold.
- Because of App Store rules, gift codes can't be redeemed in the iPhone and iPad app. A gift added to your account directly works on every device.
- We may cancel a gift or code that was obtained by abuse or by mistake. Offer codes and discounts from the stores follow the stores' terms.
11. Our rights in the app
The app, its design, the MoneyRemind name and logo belong to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for as long as you follow these terms.
12. Changes to the service
We may add, change or remove features and change what each plan includes in the future. We won't take away Premium features you've already paid for during the current period. If we ever stop offering MoneyRemind, we'll give reasonable notice so you can take your data with you.
13. Ending the agreement
You can stop using MoneyRemind and delete your account in the app at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we'll tell you why first.
14. Disclaimer
We make MoneyRemind with care, but to the extent permitted by law it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or late fees, interest or other costs from a missed or late payment, including when a reminder didn't arrive. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for MoneyRemind in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that can't be limited by law. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
16. Apple App Store
- If you got the app from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA, apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula) also applies to your use of the app.
- Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. If the app doesn't meet a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for handling claims about the app, including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection and intellectual property claims.
- You confirm that you're not in a country under a US government embargo and not on a US government list of restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
17. Google Play
If you got the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to downloads and purchases.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
Please contact us first at [email protected]. We'll try to solve the problem quickly. Consumers in Türkiye can apply to the consumer arbitration committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or the consumer court (Tüketici Mahkemesi) within the legal limits. Consumers in the EU can bring a claim in the courts where they live.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using MoneyRemind after that, the new terms apply.
